Every Portal list screen has its own filter set, its own default date window, and in some cases a hard limit on how wide a range you may select. This page is the per-screen reference. For why an element is absent altogether, see Missing Columns, Filters & Views. For what happens after you press Export, see Export Centre.

Which filters does the payment list give me?

Payment Method Type and Payment Method are the two levels of the same tree, not alternatives: the type is the parent category, the method is the leaf. Filtering on the type gives you every method in that category; filtering on the method narrows to one. You can set both, and the method selection is what the list is finally narrowed by.

What can I type into the search box, and does it accept my own order number?

The box is one dropdown plus one input, so it searches one identifier at a time. Yes, your own order number is one of the options — that is Merchant Order Id. The option set differs per list: Two behaviours to know:
  • Switching the dropdown clears what you typed. The identifier formats are different, so the input is reset rather than carried over.
  • Card Last 4 Digits accepts digits only and exactly four of them. Anything shorter returns an empty result rather than a partial match, so an incomplete entry looks like “no data” instead of an error.
There is no free-text search that guesses which identifier you pasted, and no search across consumer name or email on the payment list — the customer-side identifiers you can search are the Merchant User Id you sent us and the card’s last four digits.

What is Card Transaction Type for?

It splits card traffic by who initiated the charge: Use it when you want to separate checkout traffic from recurring charges: renewals are MIT, a first payment or a one-off is CIT. The filter only makes sense for card payments; non-card methods have no value for it. The same distinction appears as a column — see Transaction & Refund Field Reference.

A colleague has a filter I do not have. Can I turn it on?

No. Some filters are released per account and only appear when they are enabled for yours; others only exist when the underlying data does, such as the sub-merchant filter on accounts that have no sub-merchants. Neither is something you or your administrator can switch on from the Portal — ask your Waffo contact whether the filter applies to your account. The four general reasons an element is missing are listed in Missing Columns, Filters & Views. Screenshots in documentation and demonstrations are taken on accounts with a different feature set, so a filter in a screenshot is not evidence that your account should have it.

How far back does each list look, and how wide a range can I pick?

Two separate things: the default window the screen opens with, and whether the picker refuses a wider selection. The one-month picker limit works from whichever end you click first: after the first date, anything 31 days or more away from it is unselectable. So it caps the width of the window, not how far back you may go — you can look at any month in the past, just one month at a time.

I need six months of transactions. What do I do?

Not through the list filter — the payment list is capped at a one-month window, and transaction and refund exports are refused before a task is created if the selected range is wider than 31 days (the Portal says the time frame should not exceed one month). Your options: Each export becomes a task with its own status and download link; those mechanics, including what Retry Needed and a non-zero failure count mean, are in Export Centre.

How do I find every subscription agreement that is still live?

Filter on Status. The agreement list exposes the full status set, and “still live” is not one value: Note the date filter is on creation time and defaults to the last two months, so an agreement created last year is ACTIVE but outside the default window — widen the date range before concluding it is gone. For what you can do to an agreement from the Portal, see Subscriptions in the Portal.

Where does a payout I submitted in a batch show up?

The payout history screen has two tabs and they are keyed differently: So if you have the payout order ID or your own payout request ID, search the Single tab. If you only know which batch you submitted, open the Batch tab, find the batch, and open it — a batch’s detail lists its member payouts, searchable by payout order ID or recipient account within that batch; the recipient account is a column there, not a search field on the Single tab. Payout statuses themselves are covered in Payouts.

Why is the file name on the payout report list not clickable?

Because the download action on that screen is a separate permission from viewing the list. Where your user can see the report list but not download from it, the Report cell renders as plain text instead of a button — nothing is broken and the file is not missing. An administrator on your account has to grant the download capability, or a colleague who has it downloads for you. Roles and who can change them are in Merchant Portal Operations. The list itself shows the period covered, the number of orders in it, and when it was generated, so you can confirm the report exists before chasing the download.

Which settlement screen should I reconcile against?

They answer different questions, and only one of them is the settled record: The identifiers, statuses, timeline and amount definitions of a settlement record are in Settlement Batches & Calendar, and the export choices in Settlement Report Exports — including which screen replaces the estimation view.

This button is greyed out. Is it my permission or the record’s state?

Both mechanisms exist, and you can tell them apart by whether the button is absent or present but disabled: Concrete examples of the state-driven kind: the refund action on a payment that is not in a refundable state (see Transaction & Refund Field Reference), resend on a webhook record that is not eligible (see Webhook Records), and withdrawal when the balance conditions are not met (see Withdrawal Exceptions & Status). Pause, resume and terminate on an automatic withdrawal agreement are state-driven in the same way — see Automatic Withdrawal. Top right, next to the FAQ entry, when it is enabled for your account. It opens the public developer documentation in a new tab and follows your Portal interface language. If it is not there, the documentation is public anyway — start at Getting started. Nothing in the Portal is required to read it.
